i have vacuume canaster taken out, smog pump taken out, but my pcv valve makes a ton of noise. i just bought a new one yesterday and i put it in n it starts, then bogs down to like 650rpm's then jumps to about 2500rpm's then slowly calmes down and when i take it for a test drive it stalls everycorner i take. ive double and trible checked to make shure it was the right one at the store and of corse yes! also bought two of em just in case (vacuume leaks are minimal if any) but just wondering if anyone's had this problem or maybe know/has an idea of what could fix it

 

a vacuum leak at all, can cause idle problems. make sure you dont have a vacuum leak. the lines that connect to the PCV valve can break when you pull the valve out. they get brittle over time and can even get a small crack that can cause issues.

k i havnt totally checked every vacuume lines but ill do that thanks, caledonia yes that is near GR!

 

so, youre not too far from mid-michigan motorplex. ill be up there hopefully within a month. ever run at a 1/4 mile? you should. i have yet to meet up w/ someone one on here, especially a fellow v6er.

 

ya ill have to see whats goin on. the 1/4 mile no im thinkin 17 if im lucky so if anything ill come up with my buddy - 92 rs 355 3.73 posi soon to be a stick = a good time...lol
