hmmm can i add question?
whats the horse power of hmm lets say a 4cylinder car
thats made around 90-94?
u know.. like random cars lets say some 92 taurus,
and some 94 accord, and some hmmm 96 lumina
or something?
i mean, is 140hp/180torque high at all in general assumption?
just wondering...

Car information, new car prices, used car values, used car reviews, new car reviews - MSN Autos
that site should give you the hp and torque on pretty much any car (89 and up i belive)
it makes ok power for a v6 of its time. i had the same engine in my z24 cavalier and it was faster than most 4cyls of its time and kept up the the v6s but the same engine in a heavier car... i dont know. ive never been in a v6 fbody so i couldnt tell you
taurus- v6 135hp, 165trq OR v6 220hp, 222trq (sho)
accord- I4 130hp, 144trq (LX) OR I4 145hp, 190trq (EX)
lumna- v6 160hp, 185trq

INFL REST stands for "inflatable restraint". it doesnt mean its "charging up". its running the air bag system test. when the light goes out, the system is done running its test. it checks to make sure all sensors, modules, etc are functioning properly, if not it leaves the light on and shuts the system down.

Pontiac made grand prix's with turbo 3.1's in 89 and 90 (only 1000 made each year) that made 205hp and 225trq and wouldve been sweet as an option in a v6 fbody. the grand prix had a 1/4 mile time of 15.3 so even in a heavier car it would make good times

i would have no idea... there are people who have done it to cavaliers (91' Turbo Z24 i belive) but for a rwd car i dont know what would be involved. plus the fact that there are almost none out there...

putting any front wheel drive engine into a rear wheel drive car is not going to be easy at all. there would be lots of fabricating exhaust, wiring, not to mention that the starter bolts up on the other side as ours does and your intake would now be pressed right up against the firewall. thats just off the top of my head. its not worth the trouble when you can just make your own turbo kit. youd end up having to remake half of that one anyway.
