Wet pavement??? lol

Just teasing. There are a billion posts like this and unless there has been some kind of major mods done, it was probably a freak thing that happened. Everyone that owns a 6 thinks they have some kind of "factory freak" when they first have it, but go jump into a v8 car and you'll sober up real quick.

is it a fairly new rebuild? most 2.8/3.1s out running around are probably making only a fraction of there origional power. when you start with only 135/140HP you will notice a loss of as little as 5 or 10 HP, mine is a 2.8 but i can walk all over 90% of the 2.8/3.1/even a lot of the 3.4s in my area simply because it is a fresh rebuild and has only one problem (EGR). if its not been rebuilt mabe you got one of the rare V6s that has not been beat to death. Fact is most people view the V6 versions of our cars as POS beaters and they are treated as such, much the same way i treat any jap car i drive i beat the living daylights out of them. not only that but you can ring everything one of these engines has to give and unless you are a **** poor driver or have extensive mods you dont have enough power to loose control of so why not push it.

my 2.8 does 2 wheel powerbrakes also, consistently, with 235 tires, my 85 t/a with the LG4 never did 2 wheels, ever...
