The 3.4 swap has begun

Hello, Haven't been in here for a few weeks.

Pulled out the 2.8 today. Will have to splice one wire who's connecter wouldn't come out when the engine was swinging in the wind so I cut it. Another connector broke at the same time, but other than some other minor problems, it wasn't too bad I guess.

I almost hate to see the ol 2.8 go. It's been a good engine for me and all. I think I'll keep it for now. Maybe keep an eye out for another 3rd gen with a blown engine or something.

My dad will be dropping off the tranny for me to be rebuilt while I'm at work. Too bad my nova is running like crap though, especially since it's my driver for now.

I just hope I can get about the same mileage once the 3.4 is broken in.

I might have this done next weekend, or the weekend after.

your mileage shouldnt change too much w/ the swap. itll run richer due to the bigger injectors, but i was still getting 25mpg w/ mine and that was w/ mods done to it.
