usual 1/4 time and 60mph time on v6

Engine: 3.1L
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: unknown/mostlikelycrappy
usual 1/4 time and 60mph time on v6

as the title says..
with everything stock,
what kinda time would a 3.1, and 2.8 give out?

lets say, with the stock gear of 3.23(auto) and 3.43(manual).

just wanan know the rough idea of it.. thanks

i belive the 2.8 cars run solid low 18's to mid 17's and the 3.1 cars went in the low 16's to high 15's

Wow, I need to do a major tuneup on my car then... I believe I ran a mid 17 when I ran my car stock a few years back...

Thank You, I like that little writeup. Instead of replacing my cap and rotor and such with stock ones though, I think this would be a good time to just throw a few MSD parts into the mix.

my stock t5 3.1v6 when it was in there went 16.8@79mph with a posi. so who knows.

Axle/Gears: 3.42s, 3.23s, 2.73s
but what it depends on is what that 3.4 was in. 4th gens with the 3.4 aren't that fast cause of how much more they weigh than a thirdgen

well the 3.4 is in my 89 firebird, and its out of a 94 camaro.

wow. I think you got somethin wrong. I ran 16.8 in my 84 2.8, but! my heat/ac and all smog was gone, added a breather oil cap opened the exhaust a lil, and advanced the timing a lil

My girlfriend's 1993 Cavalier Z24 with the 3.1 ran 15.6 stock except exhaust at the track if that helps!
