where can i buy 3.1 heads?

my engine clattering noise from valve train got noisy over time now,
and I feel my engine is getting tired and its time for a rebuild.

i was thinking of just buying the whole assy for 1200$ or so,
but I was thiking maybe ill do the buttom end myself and just buy the heads.

anybody knows of replacement cyl heads except for dealer?

honestly, your best route would be to either just swap a 3.4 or if you wanna keep what you have, tear it down first and find out whats making the noise instead of just getting heads. you may just need new lifters or something.

also remember, you can use any RWD head from the 85 and later 2.8s, any 3.1 or 3.4 head, theyre all the same. just as long as theyre RWD.
