Complete Engine & Trans $500
what do you guys think my mechanics cousin is parting out his car and they will sell me the engine and trans for 500, it's a 305t.b.i....my 2.8 still runs very good but i'm having problems with my trans...i need some feed back

why? just get a tbi to carb adapter.....and besides.....you can get a remaned 350 from az for like 600....then ya have a waranty.......so in turn drop the 305 and do the bolt ons done then swap the block.

yeah everyone i've talked to around here says a tbi is junk but i'm getting a running 305 with tranny for $500 off of a '90 camaro, i'd say that's pretty good...but to each his own...i won't be drag racing or anything like that and i think i can get some kick out of the "LITTLE" 305, but i might be wrong
