Fan Sensor Question

Well I was curious as to who has been able to remove the plug at the rear of the passenger side head on a 3.4? Also what did you use to get it out? I don't feel like hooking up a toggle switch for the fan so I wanna put the sensor back in. I have the sensor off of the old 2.8 so I may as well.

i remember one person saying they popped it right out, but used a torch. most people i know that have mentioned it, had their heads off anyway and took it somewhere that took it out. its gotta get heated up pretty hot around the sensor to get it out. and even then you need a hella long breaker bar to get it loose.

It looks I will be doing a toggle switch if thats the case. I am not going to be messing with this thing again as of yet. It hasn't run this good in a long time. Even my dad wants to drive it now its so smooth. I guess I need to change my temp sensor and see what I get being that the gague doesn't read anything as of yet. As long as I can monitor the temp I'm good. I currently have the fan running constantly but would like to change that.

Thanks for the heads up.

I had to use a torch to get it out of the replacment heads that I put on 4 years ago, but once it was warmed up, it came right out.
