Help with a new project.

Well as most of you know I wrecked my Camaro a couple weeks ago when I fell asleep at the wheel during a 1400 mile trip. Over the past weeks I couldnt deal with not having my car anymore and have decided to buy another V6 third gen. This ones gonna get all the mods I couldnt afford before.. Starting with the 3.4 swap. Itll be rebuilt with all new goodies, including a cam. Im having some trouble here tho, I cant figure out what cam would be a wise choice since the stock one is so simular to the MTC-5 that I would use on the 2.8/3.1. Says its good for nitrous and boosted engines.. Anyone here agree? Oh and this engine will be getting a T-61 turbo. The fageol supercharger I bought got all messed up when I wrecked and I dont think it would flow enough air to make the power Im looking for anyways so its gonna be put on the shelf for awhile. Thinking of using the manifold for a custom setup tho. For one it has an oil return line that runs to that little pan under the manifold so I wouldnt have to weld anything on my oil pan, and I could make a custom plenum alot easier on it than the stocker, only problem is I dont know what to do about the sensors since the kit is made for TBI/carbs. Ill get some pics up later on.

Im hoping to hit the 12's witht his car. I was at 15.8 on a pretty much stock engine: 78,xxxmiles, port match on plenums, custom cai with boxed K&N cone filter, gutted cat, no a/c, MSD 6AL, MSD wires, Optima red top, AC Delco plugs, MSD blaster coil, ran mid-grade.

Lots of wieght reduction: No rear seats, racing seats up front, no spare tire or jack, aluminum rims, no a/c parts at all, no charcoal canister, aluminum be-cool radiator (trashed in accident), all tpi intake parts and baffleing removed, no hood latch or bracing up front(used hood pins), no windshield washer resevior, battery in trunk, no front speakers.

The car took off until the end of third at about 5K, and 4th gear or OD it didnt wanna move much at all. Would chirp the tires on occassion, no shift kit or additives and could spin em through 2nd in the rain.

All those mods will be done to the next car along with a motor swap and turbo kit plus any other goodies I wanna through in. Im still trying to decide if I wanna go with a Megasquirt or just tune with a FMU and bigger injectors.. The nly lightwieght flywheel I found was by Fidanza or whatever for like $500 on Hawks. Does anyone else make one? Also the stock T-5 isnt really gonna hold up to well to the power so should I switch to a WC T-5 or go aftermarket with a TKO500 or something of that nature? I wouldnt mind haing a T-56 but nobody has figured out how to get one to mount up to the V6 yet... Whats a good clutch to go with as well? Thanks
