So I give my g/f my car to take to the car wash brings it back says it ran fine I go and drive it and it dies.

The car starts fine and seems idle fine but when I put it in gear and start driving it begins to sputter and shut off. I think it could be the fuel filter but it does not have that many miles on it. Any ideas?

 

i had a similar problem...my car would start but had no power and when id give it gas itd sputter and die...turned out that my cat was clogged...

 

Well my car is fixed it turned out that injector 3, 4, 5 were bad. That was causing my car to act as if it was vacuum related. My car was running on 3 cylinders basically. That was also the cause of my code 35. Now my car runs great after I replaced the injectors.
