V6 Performance Exhaust System

hi, i was wondering whats a good performance exhaust system for a V6, that will eventually be turboed. i've been looking online and most of the exhaust systems say their for V8's, now is this interchangeable with the V6 or do i need to buy a kit specifically for the V6?

try a search, or posting in the exuahst section. this has be coverd a 1,000 times a week. basically headers from pacesetter and a full exhaust or a cat back, just depends what you want to do, and what you want to spend.

the catback is compatable from v6-v8. the headers and y-pipes are NOT.

If you have access to a welder or know someone who could weld it up for you I say build a custom 3 inch exhaust. I'm in the process of turboing my camaro right now and I just finished my exhaust yesterday(except for a leaky weld i have to fix).

Pacsetter headers and Dynomax makes a full exhaust for our car from the y-pipe back that doesn't sound too bad.

I have dynomax super turbo exhaust system and pacesetter headers and it sounds pretty good. except for the minor header leak i have due to the shitty gasekt blowing half apart on the 4th cylinder..new one coming friday though :-)

Agreed on the Dynomax system. I'm pretty happy with it. Thinking about adding the headers soon enough...

ive also got the pacesetter headers, dynomax catback, and if youre doing all that, get a new cat. most common one is catco i believe. going thru summit, you get a whole new exhaust system for $500 to your door. oh and make sure to get felpro header gaskets and locking header bolts if you get headers, otherwise youll be dealing w/ leaks all the time.
