2.8 Heads

Heads from a 1990 - 1995 s10 with a 2.8 liter will work on the 1992 3,1 camaro right. I know people said the last pair of heads i found wouldnt work due to them not being from a fuel injected motor. 90's s10s were though right?

yes any of the 2.8 - 3.4 heads are the same, once the 2.8 heads got bigger valves. theyve all got 1.72" intake valves and 1.42" exhaust valves.

QFT!

I don't remember for sure, but I beleive the last year of the 2.8 in the S-series was actually '94, I don't recall the '95 having a 2.8.

how much could those valves be enlarged safely? 1.8 1.5? and is it worth it?

Not to highjack the thread or any thing...

I haven't found any larger valves without going completly custon that would fit, and even somthing that could fit, would only be marginally larger, due to the small diameter bore.

Re: 2.8 Heads

those heads need porting and a 3 or 5 angle valve job before you go w/ bigger valves. or just go aluminum, lol.
