Need information on a bolt

I need information about the bolt that bolts into the A/C compressor that holds on the shield for the belt and the brace that connects the compressor to the upper intake.

I lot the bolt in my engine swap, and need to replace it (would like my A/C ). Someone on here was going to sell me it (with another thing) but he hasn't been on the forums for a while and I need the bolt. Does anyone have any information on the bolt? Like the dimensions of it? Maybe I can get one at the hardware store?

Thanks.

Yeah, you should be able to get one at the hardware store. It will be metric, that's about all I can tell since I don't own a genI 660 anymore, nor did it have A/C.

The easiest way to find what size the bolt is, would be to find another bolt that you have laying around that will thread into the hole or nut to need it to and then use that for diameter and thread pitch, and then figure out the length you need.

If I had to hazard a guess though, I'd say it will either be an M8 or M10 in diameter.

Re: Need information on a bolt

When I go to the wrecking yard, even if I don't find what I am looking for, I usually will grab misc bolts that I might need someday. Most recently I replaced the stupid torx bolts in my waterpump with hex heads from a 4th gen. I found a styrofoam cup along my travels and filled it with bolts, studs etc and the guy charged me $4 (actually wanted $5, but I told him since he charged me a buck to get in, all I had was $4,lol).

I know that it is a 13mm on my motor. The bolt is about 4 and 1/2 inches long with threads only on the last inch or so. I think that it only has like 18 threads.

Hmm, Most bolts only have one thread.
