Noise Complaint!!!

I just received my first official noise complaint from my apartment complex manager. Apparently they have a file full of noise complaints for my car, but today was my first official notification. I know my car is loud, but that’s the way I like it, I've put over $600 dollars into my exhaust (Headers, cat-back and a flowmaster). Here's a direct quote from my official noise compliant "I LIVE IN AN APARTMENT FACING ROSEDALE AVE AND IT WAKES ME UP SOME MORNINGS, BEING, BY FAR, THE LOUDEST VEHICLE IN THE AREA". I guess this is a good indicator that the money spent on my exhaust is being put to use!

If I get 2 more complaints I will be evicted, can they do this? My exhaust passed the state db level test, doesn't this mean my car's exhaust is legal? Their suggestion was "I WILL EXPECT THE VOLUME/NOISE LEVELS TO GREATLY DECREASE". I guess there is a **** somewhere?

BTW the quotes are bold b/c that is how the letter was written.

Re: Noise Complaint!!!

lol ROCK ON!

Most likely an old fart that doesn't have enough money to retire in FL.

IMO if your car passed the state db level then your fine.

Re: Noise Complaint!!!

Do you have a letter from the state, stating it is fine?

Anything in the lease about sound?

Re: Noise Complaint!!!

There is something in the lease about noise, but it is not specific. I was pulled over for excessive db, had a test done and passed, ticket was nulled.
