I Love My Ride
Well fellas I pulled out my ride today and took it for a spin. I was going to merge on the interstate dropped it into 3rd to get the rpms up , then hit 4th to pass a slow poke. Once I hit 70 popped it into 5th and was off and cruising. I tell you what there is nothing like hitting the highway with the windows down, stereo up, and running free without a care in the world. I won't trade my car for the world. The wife got mad at me tonight since I'm just getting home and I left around 7 and its 11:30.
Just wanted to drop this note to let the v8 guys know I get as much enjoyment as they do without the cost. I know this is a v6 board but they( v8 rollers) do drop in and try to bag on us. Well bag as you may but I can have the fun at half the cost and she still looks just as good.

I always get pissed at my car when something breaks again and I have o fix it, then I take a drive after I fixed it and I just remember how much I love my car and decide to keep it.

HA! im the exact same way. but luckily i have been doing proactive repairs IE replacing wear parts before they go bad so i dont have any problems.
Re: I Love My Ride
Yeah, I think I about have a new car (almost) from all the stupid stuff I replace..haha. The little things add up quick so each week one thing gets done no matter what.
I think my car is alive sometimes ....and laughing at me (lol).

Re: I Love My Ride
For me its drop the top, and let it roll. The v6 car when it was running right was still faster then this v8 one. But its due to v6 being zero option, where this v8 is full option.
I give
for summer time!!

Re: I Love My Ride
I decided to stop spending money on my car right now as far as parts. I need to replace a few things on my motor that will make it run much better. I will be getting a 3.1 to swap into my Camaro here soon.
