Engine code 22? TPS, but...
Hey guys, i have an engine code 22...
https://www.thirdgen.org/service-eng...ht-error-codes
22. Low voltage at throttle positon sensor OR Fuel cutoff relay circuit open or shorted to ground 23. Low temperature at manifold air temperature sensor OR Throttle position sensor error
how do i increase the voltage at the TPS? I replaced the tps last year when it went out... what's wrong with it now? should i just bring it back and get another one? what if it doesn't work?
thanks guys!

What does the voltage read on the TPS if you check it with a multi-meter with the key just turned over? It should read like .54 if I recall. Possible it could need adjusted which just means changing the angle the sensor is at and then tightening it back down.
Typically you would just check the voltage change of the sensor on a multi-meter by reading the value and then applying throttle gently, the voltage should increment up until WOT which should be up around 4 plus volts if I remember right. The big thing is that there are no big jumps in voltage as your moving through the range.
My TPS died last week and it was interesting as it would sit at .54 at idle without engine running, and flip to .90 as well.
