Distributor question

Does the distributor have an O ring? There wasn't one on my old one and the new one leaves a puddle of oil behind my engine where the hold down bolt is. Is my new distributor not installed right, or is there supposed to be an o-ring?

Re: Distributor question

Yea there is supposed to be an o-ring on there. The old one probubly fell apart, they are prone to do that.
