3.1L engine swap to the 3.8L turbo
Hello, everybody Im new to this site and I own a 1991 firebird with a basic 3.1L engine. I really want to keep the v6 in and make a nice street racer to go after some of these imports. Over the past year or so the motor has been out and has been striped and bored. Now im finding out that theres not really much that I can do to get the power out of it that I want to get. I really wanted to do a twin turbo set up.

Hi seitz83 welcome to the site!
You're right there isn't much (from what I've seen) that caters for the 3.1 out there in speed shop land, but a few guys on here have built turbos for their V6's, have a look through some of the threads, some of the more senior guys will point you in the right direction. As for the 3.8T, I'm not sure but from what I've herd unless you can land on a 3.8T out of the Grand Nationals/GNX you can't get a stock 3.8 to fit our birds.( something to do with the bellhousing pattern i think?) Might be wrong on all that but again the other guy will put ya right. Anyway, welcome to the site you are amongst friends!
Speed.
