When & if to sell?
Car has been in family since new from local dealership, Union Park. Beautiful blue! Car sat in old barn since late 1993 due to ignition problem. In Winter of 05', due to tearing down barn, I finally towed to my garage. It went to the local mechanic, Sevy's that spring. They replaced the injector, fuel pump, tank and FUEL SENDER to get it running strong again last June of 2006! All fluids have been changed and new brake lines and calipers installed. I just recently added new tires and it drives tight! This car is in good mechanical shape and has no major body rust. Front headlights still work, even the rear hatch is automatic & working fine! It's the v6 2.8l coupe w/standard automatic. The horn doesn't work, hood is crooked, some scratches, and door dings. Interior roofing is falling down, and the drivers rearview mirror fell off, as well as the dashboard is cracked. It could use a new exhaust. Wifey says sell now! I know I have about $3000 into it now. If I sell I could never get that out of it, right? Should get the horn fixed, add new exhaust and painted before I put it up for sale? What do you think? I need your help.

Re: When & if to sell?
You wont get what you put in it. Even with paint exhaust and tires.
IMHO The valuve of these cars especially a V6 does not go up at least not right now. I pick up a 1992 3.1 v6 bird in april 2006 that needed a paint job exhaust pipe and cat. And only paid 1,000 dollars for it.
But I swaped all my new parts from a 89 that was rearend and insurance total.
So you will never get your money out of it.
