Alright so some days my car runs like a champ it fires up no prob but then some days its like ldfhjsfhjsdfjkfjksfjsdfjkfsfhjsdfks then fires up. its weird what could cause it to do this. and when it takes forever to fire up it doesnt run good. like doesnt get up and go like it usually does. its completly stock.
any ideas what the problem is because it gets frustrating when it doesnt start right away.

that means that it will crank and crank and crank and then fire up.

 

my girls car does this cause is high milage no idn neither havent looked into it yet it starts and runs tho all that matters

 

you might try lookng at the distribtor. the whole thing. mine was doing something silmular and i relaced the plugs,wires, ignition mod. an finally i had to change the stator and found out my distributor was cracked on th inside. also it could be a fuel filter prob. but check out your distributor parts first.

 

turn it off then back on real quick when it does that run crap stuff.

Also sounds liek the FP relay isn't working all the time so the FP doesn't prime until you reach 7psi of oil.

Mine is similar but I never fixed on purpose. I like that it will not start until it builds oil PSI.
