Anyone clean IAC housing?

I always wanted to the the IAC housing but I did'nt know if I could find a replacement gasket anywhere or not. There might be alot of carbon built up there that needs to be cleaned out. Anyone ever try cleaning it along with the IAC? Any results after it was cleaned?

Re: Anyone clean IAC housing?

I used PB Blaster and it helped the IAC seal better so the idle got better.

Re: Anyone clean IAC housing?

Did you use PB Blaster to clean the IAC valve or did you use it to clean the IAC housing? The housing in which its got around 6 torx or so holding it down to the throttlebody is the one I'm thiking about taking apart and looking inside.
