Is there a slicker way I could do this TB coolant bypass?

My problem is this - using a regular hose pinches the hose in two completely. I had to use one of the molded hoses I pulled off of the TB in the first place, and it's nearly pinched in two. I'm worried that the pressure will build up and blow the hose, and I dont' think this looks very good. Any ideas?

additionally, the adapter I've circled is a common source for leaks. I thought it maight be helpful if I noted that you have to tap it with a hammer to seat the o-ring.

Brass fittings, with it pointing to the right side of the car. Then a short rubber hose jumping from the brass fittings, to the metal pipe.

You could do like me, I just ran a longer hose so that it goes around the intake tube, will be removed one day. It does make it a small pain when you are having to remove the tube.

Ohio, I ran across something I had never seen before and have tried them and they work great. They are called E-Z Coil by Good Year. They are usually near the heater hose and are a spring looking thing that slips over the outside of the hose and lets you bend the hose almost in half without collapse of the hose. They come in all standard heater hose sizes. I`ve tried them several places on my Iroc and they work great. I`ve seen them at Kragen and Pep Boys.

You could do L shape, or two "stubs" and an elbow. Whatever works best and looks best.

My v6 I had two stubs and an elbow.(I had posted plenty of motor pics in past if you want to search) The v8 has an L and Stub.

I'm picking up a gatorback upgrade later. Gatorback, the quiet belt by Goodyear! LOL - I'm thinking of just welding that **** shut. Pinch it, weld it. Done lol

lol, it really isnt that hard... but i've been at that point before, where it seems like everything your doing isn't working. Just take your time and look at itin a different way and it'll come together just fine. I had the loop over the intake tube for maybe 6,000 miles with no problems. Then i decided to go v8, yea yea i know... flame on all you want guys, but remember i was one of you!!

You don't need to worry about the hose bursting. When you take out the lim adapter you could tap it and stick a bolt in there. Throw the tb coolant adapter out with it.

The intake already has pipe threads in it. No tapping needed. And IIRC, you have to have coolent flow thru it as thats how your heater core gets warmed up.
