Re: shorty or long?
Just my opinion, But i like the shortys better. They are easier to install than long tubes.

Re: shorty or long?
Either length, properly tuned headers are optimal.

Short headers tuned for your engine are going to put out more power then a set of long untuned headers, but if you are buying a set of production headers - long tend to give more low end torque.

Re: shorty or long?
I put the hooker Hooker 2210's which weren't too hard to put on really. After a few clearance issues on the K-Frame and Starter, I would do them again any time.

I prefer the shorties. Easier to work with.

Re: shorty or long?
Basically I wanted the Long Tubes as I am running a Mufflex Y-Pipe and 4 inch exhaust. I am trying to keep down on the restrictions. It is a matter of personal preference on what people like thought.

What about tuned long tubes?

you get the best of both worlds, more low end torque and more top end power.
