First, let go of the caps key. Second, this has been covered many times, search before posting. I know the search function sucks since the change, but you'll usually find what you need in old post land.

A stock engine in good shape can put up with about a 100 shot from time to time.

just remember fuel is key, Lean = bad. Lean + Nitrous = new motor. Make sure you have a healthy fuel pump.

Re: NITRO PLEASE..........

It depends on which kit you get. Some have you retard the timing, some dump in extra fuel (wet kits), some don't have you do anything and expect the ecm to compensate on it's own (dry kits).

If you plan on anything larger than a 50 shot forget a dry kit. The stock injectors don't give you much slack to work with. Best idea is a wet kit.

Re: NITRO PLEASE..........

yeah i was thinking wet kits, dry sounds too dangerous!!! relying on the car to know somethings there that its not programed to know hmmmm.
dont know why anyone would buy one, surely with wet youve got the option to run dry anyways right? then if you move it from car to car youve got it all covered.....
im only looking for 50 shot, dont want mega horses just a comfortable boost to help out in certain situations - overtaking and stuff.
thanks for the input.
is it wise to have the bottle on show to sunlight ???
ive seen pics of peoples installs with bottle on show but ive never read anything about it, is it dangerous????

I've never heard of one bursting in the sun. Might want to put it in a shady spot anyway.
