for me to make my cowl hood functional. The hood is already functional for a carb but I thought that it would be a neat idea to make it functional. One thing I need to know is how much hood clearance is there? I could fab nearly anything up to make it work. What I am getting at is making an intake to flow from the cowl to the TB.

Re: Think it possible...
I'll be doing that... sort of.
I'm gonna use tubing or CPVC and get rid of my air cleaner. I'll run the tubing around and I'm gonna stick a universal K&N type bullett element on the end and stick it up where power bulge is. I have the plug out already.
The hardest part is making a bracket to the engine to hold the tubing in place so that it doesn't fall down into the engine compartment...

Re: Think it possible...
I was thinking of bolting a cake pan down using the UIM bolts.
