need temp fix for oil leak
alright when this motor went together it was assembled with a hi volume oil pump and the spring was shimmed.
oil presure is a lil high but i cant do jack about it before saturday. my only friggen leak is from the dizzy, ive tried a new oring, and even made my own gasket to seal the block to the dizzy. its still friggen dripping.
mine u oil presure is 45 psi hot at idle and 90 psi hot @ redline
65psi idle cold dont know what it is reved up cause i wont rev the motor up cold
and ideas on something to try its not a bad leak but eventually it will drip on the ground,
ive thought about rtv but i doubt that will seal, and prolly make the leak worse if i decide to make a base timming adjustment while at the track.
i just need something to get me threw the weekend so the pan can come off and a shim pulled out of the oil pump spring
ive also thought of droping the oring in some parts cleaner solovent to make it swell a lil but im not thinking that would work either
