Price on a 3.4
I've been trying to find a rebuilt 3.4, called a few shops but no where has any, they haven't even given me a price on them. Anyone got an average price on them from like Advance Auto Parts or any where? If I can't find one by end of June guess I'll be looking for another Camaro to buy.

I'm in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I've searched the net some and only been able to find a few crate 3.4s for like 2500, I was hoping to only spend around 1k at the most though.

I say just look around your state some more.
I found a place called Sattler's supply here in Louisiana that'll sell me a 3.4 short block reman. for $580(without core).

try the autoparts stores, and the gmpp catalog (engine is still listed, and new at that)
