replacing stock injectors

I have a 91 camaro 3.1 and i've read the post about changing the stock injectors with ford 2.9's. I know that using the ford one's would increase my performance but my main concern is gas mileage. I'm trying to decide if i should by the ford's or just get stock replacements. Would my gas mileage get a little worse with the ford's?
