Re: 2.8l intake

I pulled some intake parts from an 87 GN and installed it under the hood of my 86. Built a custom filter assembly as well. Pardon the filth... It hasn't been driven or cleaned in a while...

Re: 2.8l intake

Anything youcan do to make it bearth better will help, the engine is just an air pump, exhaust mods help the most though.

Get that sucker to flow free on obth ends and it will rev fast and hard through all gears.

Re: 2.8l intake

And when it comes to the intake, you do not want the engine breathing that hot nasty underhood air. You want air to come directly from outside of the car and into the engine. With no breaks or gaps. All fresh clean cool air. The difference once the engine is hot is night and day.

Re: 2.8l intake

Only if your really searious and have the cash, not a 3yrs saving mod

You wanna do a cold air mod asap.

If you search folks have made lots of stuff that might not looks flashy, but is way functional to get fresh cool air in the engine.

places like Lowes is your friend, hit the plumbing and heating section.
