Re: turbo question
you can run anyturbo without changing your fuel pump but i would not suggest it.it might lean out inturn not supply enough fuel to your engine which is a bad thing.

Re: turbo question
You need to un-do the stock regulator and go adjustable and then maybe.
On the dry nos system holley sells for our car, they use a return line switch that block the fuel, to over ride the regulator to boost fuel.

Re: turbo question
All depends on how much more power you want to add. You will be safe for moderate boost (5-7psi).
The bigger question is, what are you going to do to increase the fuel delivery with the boost? If you are not planning on tuning the ECM, then you need to, at the least, have a rising rate fuel pressure regulator (AKA fuel management unit, as Gumby mentioned) and raise the fuel pressure linear with the boost pressure - making the injectors have a higher flow rating.
Also, it's not a bad idea to get some way of data logging, or even a wide band o2 sensor to monitor the spent gases for oxygen.

Re: turbo question
If you have the means, time, and $$$ to run a turbo why would you skimp on a very important part of a turbo system? Replace the pump, it's not that hard.
