Re: Not taking any chances
these weiigh aprox 630 grams but machining them down to fit the v6 crank widdth will make them a lil lighter so prolly 600 grams
i dont recall the wieght of a factory rod but i think its in the mid 500's
manley rates these things to 8,700 rpm and 800 hp depending on stroke and piston wieght so should never have to worry about putting a rod out the side of the block with these.
i was starting to get a lil concerned when i relized just how much power im making at the crank and how high im actually turning this motor.so for the price im getting i couldnt say no, im getting these at less cost then it would to buy and modify a set of 327 small journal stock rods

Re: Not taking any chances
we havent run since the 13.008
im out of injector and just about out of turbo
making around 380 crank hp and the turbo is only good for about 425 crank
i have some methanol injection stuff comming in along with a bigger turbo and injectors
ive parked the car for now no sence in trying to run any faster when my injectors already went 110% on me last time out
the afr's actually went as high as 15.5-1 in the last 400 ft of the track on me on that 13.008 run
i could run faster if i backed off a few psi of boost and didnt go lean but its like why risk it when i know my fuel system is already strianed
