slugish take off
well this has been a problem fopr a while and it never relly botherd me till now what its diong is when stoped the car will sometimes just stall and if at a light and i try to just slowley come out of the stop it will act slugish if i floor it she goes and tester day with the car running i poped the hood and moved the thrittle by hand and after 1/4 inch or so she droped in rpms and after 5 or 6 sec she sputterd and backfired and as soon as i let the throttle go back to idle thr ran fine eny ideas would be awsome thanks

The first thing that I would try is to clean your throttle body. It usually causes it to idle rough when it's dirty. Just go to the auto parts store and pick up a can of throttle body cleaner for fuel injected throttle bodies.
I see you live in dunnellon and that you're a student... do you go to CFCC, if so I think you were in my english class last year. I know he had a red 2.8 firebird that looks just like the on in your picture.

yep good idea to clean out the throttle body and iac passage while cleaning.. check the tb gasket. a leak there can cause rough idle/ hesistation also

yep thays me going to cfcc il try to clean the throttle boddy out a bit and see that hapens thanks
