well today was my local tracks season closing day, i was unable to get the car out to the track one last time before they closed.
kinda disapointing but i was dead set on getting that 11 second slip before i drop the 4.3 tt motor in.
the track opens back up in march so ive got some time to make some over due changes to the setup and get the rollcage installed
plans for the winter include
#1 10 pt rollcage
#2 2 aluminum seats
#3 cam change (going slightly larger)
#4 subframe connectors
#5 3 inch dom driveshaft
#6 relocate battey to the trunk
#7 lexan side windows and rear window with fiberglass hatch
and finally getting rid of the 4:10 rear gears and i may possible send my converter out and have it tightened up some we found out this year its slipping about 25% when we turn the boost up.thats a pretty dam big loss in hp alone
so for now ill keep the 3.1 but sometime mid next season the 4.3 will be droped in
