Car won't start?

Well my car just shut off while i was driving a while back, no sputter nothing. So i did all the obviuos stuff. New cap, rotor, plugs, wires, ign module, coil. So it has great spark. It has fuel pressure at the rail (43 psi), and it is getting the pulsed ground signal from the ECM to fire the injectors. I thought it might be compression or timing, but it has compression, and im almost positive its not the timing, b/c it has a chain, so i would've heard it break or jump a tooth most likely.Oh and yes it does crank just fine. just no start. Will any sensors like oil pressure or others, cause a no start condition??

So now im not sure what else to do. If anyone has ANY insight into my problem, i would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks

Zach

MAY BE A STUPID QUESTION, BUT HAVE YOU CHECKED ALL YOUR FUSES?

Re: Car won't start?

You said you have spark and fuel pressure, that's good. ECM is working, obviously, so you have power there.
How do you know you have a pulsed signal at the injectors? Did you use a noid light on each one? Also, did you check the connection between the injector harness at BOTH ends (unless your injector harness only has one connector like the 3.1's do)?
Oil pressure switch would disable your fuel pump. CTS is a possibility, but unlikely. Seems like something is keeping your injectors from pulsing, otherwise you would at least get either a hiccup or a backfire... You said your injectors were getting the ground switch, how's about power?

Re: Car won't start?

Not clear in your post...do you still have good spark? If not, check the ignition module. Been there, done that.

Re: Car won't start?

Id spray a little starting fluid down its throat, if it fires its more than likely injectors not getting propper signal.
