Can i use these plugs and injectors?

My bird has the 2.8, and i was wondering if these parts would work with my car?
-Fuel injectors out of a 3400 #s- 2211c, c4b (would this make it run to rich?)
-NGK Iridium plugs part # ITR4A15

The injectors from the 3400, I would GUESS that they work. I mean, i don't see any reason they wouldn't.
Any normal spark plugs should work for ya, they're all pretty much the same.

you need to know the flow rate difference between the two injectors.the computer can compensate for fuel trims up or down about 20% once it learns the o2 content

Re: Can i use these plugs and injectors?

Im not really sure on the exact part numbers...but I think the stock 3400 injectors are up to 1999 are the OBD1 style and are 19lbs....and 2000+ are the OBD2 style and are 23lbs. Just got to make sure that you have the OBD1s.

As for the spark plugs, I always double check the gap when I get new ones. Its real easy...no real reason not to.

So if its the 19lbs one my car should be able to compensate for the added fuel?

Don't use either the plugs or the injectors. Those plugs are overpriced and nothing works as well in our 60 degree engines as factory AC Delco plugs. End of story there.

As for the injectors, my car (3.1, a little bigger than your 2.8) loves to throw a code 45 (rich) when I have my 3100 injectors (same as the 3.4 RWD injectors, but NOT the same as the 3400 ones, which are bigger still) installed... Just imagine how much fun you will have with the 3400 plugs, which would be like putting my set of 305 TPI injectors back into my fuel system, WAAAY rich, so rich that the exhaust note changes noticeably due to the excess fuel being burned where it's not supposed to be.
