ALDL for 1982 2.8l Carb Engine

Does anyone know if the ALDL connector works with a 1982 2.8l V6 Carb Camaro? If so what is the best software for it? thanks.

I tried to get it to work with my '83 Firebird with no luck. Couldn't get it to work, but that of course can mean that I was just doing it wrong.

Yeah i tried it once a while back but couldnt get it to read, but i might have been doing something wrong as well
