possibility of italian powered fire bird

I live in new york where winter is no place for a F body with snow ice salt and sand so I got a winter beater. but little did I know this winter beater of mine (1991 alfa romeo 164L) has a 3 liter 60* v6 with 24 valve heads and about 220 horsepower. thing is that it is a front wheel drive and i know that there are many north south east west qualms. this has intake runners though witch i thought might make the old swap chess nut easier. what do you think I'm going to post some pictures eventualy.

Anything is possible with enough money.

I love the idea (hell, I want to put a Ferrari V12 under my hatch glass!), but I bet there are some serious fitment issues. Sure, nearly the same size engine and all, but I bet 0% of the bolts line up. Still, an interesting idea. Post up pics then ya can.

Would just need money for the right trans adapter.

Know a guy who took one of them newer Dodge Intrepids and changed it from FWD to RWD using a T56 as a trans.

Helped allot that the stock engine didn't sit sidways and the body was stamped for RWD, like it was planned but never used.

How about the new 60v6 that they are planning to put into the new camaro. You could get saab version that is 2.8 and twin scroll turbo's, all it takes is some tuning and higher octane to get 400hp. But I had about the same idea for my vega that I was going to swap the cosworth 4cyl into but I found a cosworth DFX v8 for sale and went into a day dream that lead to a 22,000 price tag.
