89 RS when to replace timing chain?
Hello,
I am a noob and I just got an 89 RS 2.8. It just had the water pump and power steering pump replaced. They (previous owner)should have gone ahead and done the chain while they were in there but they didn't. Does anyone know what the manual says about the chain? Many cars are around 80k or so. I hope this one was changed before. It has 145k on it. I have been reading and mine has a lot of similar issues as some of yours as I have been reading older posts. This is a great forum. Lots of useful information.
