ok so i want to add some power to my 3.1 automatic, i have a cat back exhaust performance air filter on the stock piping, and an underdrive crank pulley i was thinking of getting my hands on and intake off of a TPI, where can i get one of them with all of the pieces besides a junkyard i also wanted to possibly upgrade my intake manifold and or heads, any idea where to get them as well? or am i going to have to take my to a shop and get them P&P? i would get nitrous but im not sure if there is a place around here to even fill up the tank. i also found this venom programmer... http://www.andysautosport.com/chevro...o00008957.html is this mod worth it? does it work like it says it will? the last thing i was curious about was putting a bigger throttle body of there, for example would putting a throttle body from a TPI on my intake manifold make a difference? thanks alot i hope i get some good and helpful feed back!

For TPI intake, try eBay, Hawks, and my local place American Camaro.

There's only 1 aftermarket intake manifold sold, and consensus seems to be its $600 junk.
Our heads are junk, but there are no aftermarket upgrades. The FWD v6 heads and intake manifold fit and flow very well, but require other mods to work.

Never seen the programmer before so hopefully someone else will take that....
Seems kinda pricey though.

To put a TPI throttle body on our engines, you'd have to swap to a TPI intake manifold. That has been done, but it seems like a lot of cutting and welding for what didn;t seem to be much improvement. Looked kinda cool tho.

I'm about half done with my weight reduction (took out about 100 lbs), and with the first four steps the car is way more fun than stock. I'm in college, so i can't afford to do it all at once. A step at a time will get it done in good time.
