Thats some nasty damage. The rear quarter is gone and judging by the hood it looks like nothing is lining up right. If someone was looking for the parts that are still good on your RS, then maybe... but considering the extent and location of the damage, you won't find a buyer who wants anything but parts. Have you considered parting the car out yourself? You might get even more than your $900 if enough is good.

Re: thinkin bout trading up
i think what campin is focusing on is the rear quarter...thats more then just slapping on a fender....rear quarters in these cars means alot of work especially if you have to chop it all off and replace it like yours would have to do...id guesstimate its an easy $1700 to get that done right and primed and painted
EDIT: idk man 2000 miles is hard to believe...id check carfax on that sucker...i was amazed when i bought my car and it had 68000 orginal miles on it, and it passed carfax and dmv records

Ah. from the pic it looks like the hood is closed on one side and ajar on the other. If you have the time and ability, it might be a good canidate to be parted though. Looks like there's a lot of good on that car, but the damage makes that specific vehicle pretty much a loss (considering you can get a better body for less than the repair might cost).
Also, if you have the money to buy the other one outright, have you considered using this as a parts car for your new camaro? If i were in the same situation, I'd buy the other car, pull this one apart, keep what i need and sell what I didn't.
I spent a few hundred buying a parts firebird last summer and I stripped that thing clean of everything that could help my car, and it saved me tons of money. Parts cars rock.

AMEN!...but i unfortunately cant have another "parts car" on my lot...village only allows 1 car without plates on your property....i already have three whatever you want to call them cars....project, junk, etc....one car has no plates and the other two have one of the same plates on each car(haha one car is out back and one is out front, they will never know
