I have a '91 Firebird 3.1 V6 5-speed manual I just bought and I am looking to add some horses to this already sweet car. Any info or suggestions are more than appreciated.

There's also another stickey about installing a turbo, besides those 2 threads you can P&P the intake manifold, heads and get a dyno tune. If you do all that with out the addition of a turbo you should atleast get a transgo shift kit. Happy searching-Rey

Okay. What does P&P the intake manifold entail? I also wanted to change out the Chip in the car but looking at the Jet chips website I cant find a chip that works for my car as it is a manual verses an automatic.

Porting is something best left to professionals. If done incorectly it can actually lose you power. Chips are best used after you car is slightly modified, and even then they don't do a lot.
That "aftermarket parts" thread will do you little good as summit changed their website and all the links just go to the same page.
I'd say start with a catback, a UDP, give 'er a good tune up and seafoam, and a better intake. http://thirdgenmods.firebirdv6.com/ has a good plan for an intake.
