How to remove a Varajet?

I'm trying to take my carb off for a rebuild, but I can't get to the bolts at the base with either a crows foot, a socket/u-joint, or a box end wrench! How do you get this thing off?

Copying to the V6 forum.

Most guys on the Carburetor forum are strictly V8.

Re: How to remove a Varajet?

Use 1/4in stuff with a swivel to get them broke lose, then they will spin right off easy. They don't make it easy.

Make sure and replace the float, it don't come in the carb kits.
