T-5 NWC Vs T-5WC

Hey Guys.
So I've been doing a bit of research and have a few unanswered questions. So I now know there were two types for T-5 Transmissions the
Non World Class and the World Class.
-Are the shells for the transmissions the same?
-If So is there any way i can order the guts?
-I realise the year they were in a camaro was 1988-1989(correct me if im wrong)
-If i could find a T-5WC would it be direct change over for the T-5 NWC?
-Would this benefit me or would i be better off rebuilding the T-5 i have?
Thanks

They're the same physical size, they'll directly bolt in place of each other. A non-WC can't be upgraded to WC specs by just adding parts. A V6 version of either transmission is easy to find and cheap, there's no good reason to rebuild a NWC.

Okay so now my next question is if i find a T-5 WC from a 2.8l change the input shaft to a 26 spline count and change the bell housing is that similar to or the same as the T-5 that came from a 305?
