My 88 Pontiac Firebird keeps fouling out the plugs to the point where they are wet with oil. I dont see any smoke from the exhaust, any ideas?

Is it oil or fuel on the plugs?

How many miles? Some pics of the plugs would be nice. How much oil are you consuming in between changes? You could also do a compression check on all of the cylinders. I hope its nothing serious. Are you sure its gas?

Not if you have a catalytic converter. If its real bad you still would but those converters will hide a lot.

Worn rings. As mentioned above: How much oil are you having to replace? I have worn rings also and it does consume oil but not enough to warrant an overhaul at this time. I will tend to see a bit of smoke when it's first started but after it warms up, it is barely noticeable. I probably replace about a quart every couple of months.
