90 firebird stalls in gear at stop lights/ stop signs
I got a tune up done to it, had fuel filter changed. Ran great before the tune up. Still runs great besides dying at idle in gear. I've read thru other posts and seen it could be the iac. Can I unplug it and see if it still does it? Anything else I can try?

Unplugging the IAC is gaurenteed to make it stall. remove it and clean it off with some brake cleaner, keeping it upside down at all times.
I chased a problem like this around for a while, new O2 sensor, PCM, can't remember what else. Turned out my injectors were shorting out..

I checked out a bunch of stuff today. I narrowed it down to I think a bad brake booster or booster check valve. Once I pull the hose of the check valve and plug it the idle smooths right out and runs great. It's gotta be something little cause u can drive it all day and won't do it unless it's in gear with foot on brakes
