2.8 header flange gasket

I have a 89 2.8 camaro and have the pacesetter headers. here's my problem, I blew the 3 bolt flange gasket on the passenger side that connects the header to the y pipe....the gasket is 2 1/4 but i need to know if I can use a 2 1/2 flange gasket to replace it? any help will be appreciated

If the bolt holes line up I don't see y you couldn't, but I would just get the right size. I'm pretty sure all the parts stores stock them

Call or email Summit or one of those places, or even try to get a hold of Pacesetter if necessary. One of those places should have them.

Re: 2.8 header flange gasket

i guess those might be a little small for a parts store to have, autozone only carries 2 3/4 and 3 i think in stock no that i think about it a little more. you may have to order those from somwhere but it wouldnt hurt to call the parts stores if you need them asap or even a local exhaust i imagine would have them handy
