Re: Throttle body question
It goes in the back of the TB in the IAC adaptor thing. The big hole stays plugged, the small hole next to it is for the FPR and anything needing manifold vacuum that has a small diameter line (HVAC controls), and the other goes to the EGR and charcoal canister purge valve (small line on the vacuum control valve, not the electronic solenoid).

Since you're around maybe you can answer other vac line ****, the two nipples on the back of the UIM, where do those go, big one to the brake booster right? and the small diameter tube on the intersection piece of the LIM, goes to EVAP right? with another going to PCV valve, one to the LIM itself, and the last one straight to the IAC?

Re: Throttle body question
Did you break the nylon pipe assembly for the PCV? The evap can is SUPPOSED to connect to the small line running off of there. The small port on the nipple in the rear of the plenum is supposed to connect to a line running around behind the engine with a check valve T in it... the pass-through port runs to the cruise and the vac ball under the driver's side batt tray, and the T-port runs to the HVAC control head.
If you DID break the smaller line off of the PCV/idle air pipe, you will need to T into the line running off of the small port where the booster connects in the back of the upper plenum.

Re: Throttle body question
No, I didn't break it, just connected it to the FPR, which aparrantly is wrong which I know now from looking at a diagram, the one I connected to FPR actually goes to EVAP that you're talking about, but I'll just unplug from there, run it around out the front to the back of throttlebody where it belongs.

Re: Throttle body question
You broke the pre-molded FPR line, didn't you? There was a single-use hard vac line running between the TB port and the FPR.
The small PCV line SHOULD run around the plenum to a spot somewhere around the middle cylinder on the side of the engine the EVAP is on, and point right straight out to the fender, so it should be less confusing as to how this gets hooked up.
You didn't unhook any of the hoses right at the EVAP can, did you?

Re: Throttle body question
Dude half my damn lines broke in half in my gd hands =/ Including the FPR, and about half the ones going to the evap, and the rest of my lines weren't much better.
I'm pretty much replacing every single vac line and hose under my hood =/
When I say broke in half, I mean crumbled on contact

Re: Throttle body question
That's the way mine were when I first started working on mine... Every single one I touched broke. Most of the rubber ones were already broken somehow (I seem to recall one of the EVAP ones having like a little valley in it where the hose had split and collapsed). And, of course, once I fixed the ones on the EVAP can, the damn solenoid itself broke...
Funny thing is that I know I still have my original FPR line intact here somewhere...
I meant to get that pic of the hose routing today but I'm going to have to try tomorrow as it's been attempting to rain all day (not good for my camera, you know?).
