i was wondering what are some things i can do to my camaro just to get some ex hps. with out doing and engine swap or turbo.

Basic bolt-on performance upgrades...headers, cat-back exhaust system, cold-air/ram-air intake, plugs, wires, distributor, retune of your ECU/EMS.

A little more complicated...port/polish of cylinder heads and intake manifolds, port-matching of your manifold to your cylinder heads, bigger injectors and fuel pump.

 

what about a cam swap i was thinking of doing that

 

Yeah, that would be a good idea, too. Sorry I didn't think of it at the time. Bigger valves, larger ratio rocker arms, better springs, and maybe even better pushrods might come in handy there as well.

 

Check out the sticky at the top of the page. Someone on here is selling a set of headers and Y pipe I saw. Summit will have cams, 1.6 lifters that come with GM HE pushrods, dynomax catback, and pacesetter headers.
