K&N Filters in a TPI air box

For those of you with a 3.1 and a TPI air box on your car have you ever put in a set of K&N or other performance filters? If so what kinda of MPG gains did you see if any or did you feel in improvement in the responsiveness of the car? Any input is appreciated

Re: K&N Filters in a TPI air box

I have one in my regular filter can. No noticeable difference in either power or MPG. The stock intake outflows the V6, and the dual snorkel does so even more. You wont notice any difference.
I do however always recomend K&N, beacause if it lasts as long as 4 reguar STP air filters it's paid for itself. I'd get one if for no other reason than to save $ in the long run.
