I went to have my car inspected and forgot to repalce the smog pump before the inspection. Before the installation, the idle was kinda rough and low to the point it seemed like cutting off. It never threw a code. I put the smog pump back on, got the car inspected and noticed the idle was much better. NOW, the pump is not hooked up electrically but it's just being used as a pulley. How would this change my idle unless I had a bad pulley somewhere else like the ps pump or cam? I'm still running rich, but that's another story.
